Free Agent Priority? NT or OT?

Just a few weeks ago at the end of April, just before the draft, we were debating the merits of what position the team would use the first round pick on. It appeared at the time that Nose Tackle was the majority, which I was opposed to. I was in the camp that we needed to improve the Offensive Tackle position. Scotty did surprise most everyone with the WR choice out of Pitt.

So here we are, close to the frenzy of Free Agency this year and  the same question is before us. While some are satisfied that Barry Richardson will improve this year and Tackle is not a need, others like me want an upgrade. On the flip side is the NT question, which some think Powe is the solution for the rotation if last years players, Edwards and Smith, get resigned. Some want to bring in an outsider, a FA who is younger than Edwards and could be quite pricey but eliminating the need to sign Big Ron and/or Deep Freeze.

So let the debate begin onto which need is the utmost importance for the Chief's success this season. Personally I would like to see both positions upgraded, but when it comes to the nitty gritty it is the OT that I would see fixed first. Of the choices available is the tackle from the Donkeys, if in fact he will be free to sign. This gives us a young , accomplished OT familiar with the ZBS and removes a good player from a division rival. What say you? Go Chief's!!!
