Your Bobby Sippio Update Of The Week

Yeah, you read that headline right...

Here's what former Kansas City Chiefs WR Bobby Sippio is up to in the Arena football league:

Orlando WR BOBBY SIPPIO, Orlando DB TRAVIS COLEMAN and New Orleans WR SKYLER GREEN have been named Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week, Riddell Defensive Player of the Week and JLS Ironman of the Week, respectively, for Week 13 of the 2011 AFL season.

For Sippio, that's nine catches, 124 yards and a whopping six touchdowns in a 77-61 victory. He has 20 touchdowns...in nine games.

Chris forwarded me the release about this and just wrote: "Sippio!"

Indeed, Chris, it's Sippio.

if Bobby knows how many Chiefs fans adopted him because of that Hard Knocks season. Many, myself included, wanted him to make the team because of the underdog factor. Thanks for the update Joel. It really is nice to see him succeed.

I know Sippio is a joke of a player

but honestly, at least the guy could actually catch the football unlike everyone else that was on the roster at the time other than Tony G.

LOL this is hilarious!

My gf & I flew to Orlando yesterday & he was on our flight. I was surprised I recognized him. Now it makes sense as to y he was going to Orlando. Had no idea he played for their Arena team. Don’t know y he was here though. Maybe to hang with his cousin Dwayne
