So I know what you're all thinking, Scott Pioli is easily the best general manager in football. I mean... look at his last couple drafts, they were outstanding!! And look at all teh value he got out of it! I mean... We could easily have the rookie of the year in both defense and offense in Jonathan Baldwin and Justin Houston, their in really good situation with the Chiefs and should be given every opportunity to succeed with all the talent that is surrounding them currently with the Chiefs.
Thomas Hali, Shaun "nutcracker" Smith, Wallace Gillberry, Glenn Dorsey, DJ, Berry, Carr, Flowers, Lewis, Arenas, Powe, and maybe Tyson Jackson if he saves himself from being a bust this year should be Pro Bowlers, and with so much attention going to them it's going to be hard to pay attention to Justin Houston, who should win defensive rookie of the year because teams won't be paying to much attention to him because of all the talent around him...
:) Okay now.
Then you have "Baldwinning" who, now that a quality quarterback is throwing to him in Matt Cassel (or Ricky Stanzi) he should now have better production than he did in "teh PITT." Also, with Charles, Bowe, Moeaki, Pope, Cassel, Albert, Waters, Lilja, and maybe Richardson probably going to the Pro Bowl teams will not have a good enough defense to watch the former PITT standout. Especially if Dexter McCluster as he gets more adapted to the game of the NFL will be playing at a higher level and should take heat off of the future "rookie of the year." These should all help us get to the next level and finally beat teh Colts in playoffs (oops did I just type that!?)
Hop over teh jump to see what I think will be the result of the NFL season for our beloved Chiefs.
WEEK ONE- THE BILLS 14-38, Chiefs
This one should be a tough one, the Bills play us close a lot and they have a former offensive coordinator of our beloved Chiefs which should give them a decided advantage over our defense who should be still adapting to having Justin Houston instead of Mike Vrabel starting.
However, Matt Cassel has always done good against the Bills even when he was back in New England playing for the Patriots Matt Cassel always beats the Bills..
Our beloved Chiefs win this one in a close one
WEEK TWO- THE LIONS 0-48 Chiefs
The Lions have been bad for a long time, and until they fire Matt Millen they will continue to be bad. This is not even worth typing about, the Chiefs shold mop up the Lions like Freddrick Kirkwilliams mops up the Lincoln High gym every night if you know what I mean ;D..
WEEK THREE- THE CHARGERS 0-3 Chiefs
We know two things about the Chargers, the have the #1 offense, and they have the #1 defense. This one should be tight because by now having only allowed 14 points the entire season the Chiefs should be the #1 defense in the NFL. Phillip Rivers doesn't really do well in the beginning of the season as well as the entire Chargers organization. Our beloved Chiefs luck out here as Nick Kaeding usually folds and misses the game winning field goal.
WEEK FOUR- THE VIKINGS 0-27 Vikings
It's too bad for our beloved Chiefs that they do not face the Vikings later on in the season. I've heard from some pretty good sources that the Vikings are likely to bring back Brett Favre so they can make a run while Adrian Peterson is in his prime and to help mentor Chase Ponder. Unfortunately for our beloved Chiefs, Brett Favre is probably going to be starting this game, and so i s Pat Williams and Kevin Williams should be coming off of their suspensions because of the star capsgate.
Charles can't break through the Williams wall, Jared Allen gets his revenge on the Chiefs, and Brett does what he usually does and takes a huge win in arrowhead.
WEEK FIVE- THE COLTS 56-59 Chiefs
Predictably the NFL put this game in the Colts house because they want the our beloved Chiefs to stay out of playoffs so that the stupid Chargers and their massive fan base can pay the man. It doesn't matter though I think this is the year that Romeo Crennel finally buries the hatchet and finally beats Peyton Manning.
The defense is still slumping from getting owned the week before but the Cassel to the "killer B's" combo is too much for Ben Sanders to handle.
WEEK SIX- THE CHIEFS TAKE THE WEEK OFF AND PREPARE TO CHALLENGE THE RAIDERS IN A MUCH ANTICIPATED BATTLE. BUT GOING INTO THE BYE WEEK AT 3-1, THE CHIFS ARE FINALLY GETTING THE RESPECT THAT THEY EARNED BY WINNING AND GOING 4-1 AGAINST A PRETTY TOUGH SCHEDULE.
WEEK SEVEN- THEEEEEE RAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIDUHHHHHSSSS!!!!!!! 0-18
The Raiders had a pretty solid draft and will likely re sign Michael Bush which should be huge for them. They are looking like they are ready to make super bowl run this year after sweeping the AFC however they did not make the playoffs unfortunately last year.
It's a tough battle at the Raider Jim Plunkett v.2 does a pretty good job against a Flowerless backfield. However so does Trent Green v.2. This one is a tough battle and both teams play it very close.
WEEK 8- THE CHARGERS 14-18 Chiefs
Remember what happened last time the Chargers came to Arrowhead!? I expect muhc of the same.
WEEK NINE- DOLPHINS 18- 28 DOLPHINS
I'll make this one short and sweet. A long time ago a young man by the name of Todd Haley decided that he wanted to be a coach in the NFL, do you want to know who decided to try and make that dream come true? Bill Parcells, the greatest coach in the history of the game of the NFL. Bill Parcells drug Haley through the mud and told him that you have to learn how to be mean and have true GRIT in order to be a solid NFL head coach.. Then Todd Haley went on to coach the Jets, Cowboys, and now our beloved Chiefs. Unfortunately for Scott Pioli and co. Bill Parcells works in Miami now. So basically, to keep it short, Bill Parcells taught Todd Haley everything he knows, so how can Parcells not know exactly what the Chiefs are going to do before they do it!? It's going to be a long day for our Pro Bowler stacked roster.
WEEK TEN- BRONCOS 18-0 CHIEFS
This is easy, the Chiefs dominate on the ground and have enough talent rushing the passer that Tebow is thrown into a situation he's not quite ready to handle. Also, the Broncos lack of a solid running game should be revealed here as the Chiefs completely constrict the Broncos into submission.
WEEK ELEVEN- PATRIOTS 18-16 CHIEFS
Bill Bellachecks coordinators generally do a good job of beating the Patriots for some reason. Good news for our beloved Chiefs we have two of them in Romeo A. Crennel, Todd Haley should have a field day against the Patriots now lacking defensive front because they were stupid enough to trade away Raymond Seymour.
WEEK 12- THE STEELERS 18- 32 CHIEFS
Todd Haley preceded Herm Edwards who should tell us everything we need to know about Mike Tomlin, and Todd Haley was birthed to Dennis Haley who used to coach for the Steelers so he should tell our beloved Chiefs everything we need to know about their team.. Also it's worth noting... That Todd Haley is 100% wins against the Steelers.
Week 13- THE BEARS 15-18 CHIEFS
This is a tough one but the Chiefs play it close and come out with the victory as Jim Cutler throws 3 INT's and 3 TD's
WEEK FOURTEEN- THE JETS 18- 5 JETS
This a tough one to swallow but we cannot beat Mark Sanchez and Bart Scott when they go on their normal late season runs, also.. It's worth noting that LaDanian Tomlinson usedx to be a Charger so he knows a lot about the Chiefs.
WEEK FIFTEEN- THE PACKERS 18-0 PACKERS
Uh oh our beloved CHiefs are on a losing streak.
WEEK- 16 THHEEEEEEEEEEE RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIDUHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSS 18-21
WEEK 17- THE BRONCOS 18- 15 Chiefs
There is a lot of speculatation that this will not be the last week of the season so Todd Haley, ready for anything plays his starters despite locking up the top seed in the NFL just in case the season is expanded by the NFL.
I cannot predict playoffs for the sake of I cannot know who will possibly win enough games on the acount to get there. However I will predict the Chiefs beat the Colts in the Super Bowl ergo they become the Super Bowl Champions
