Todd Haley Will Present Larry Fitzgerald On NFL Network's Top 100
NFL Network is running a series identifying the top 100 players in the NFL as voted on by the players (even if the players aren't sure who actually voted).
We're closing in on the final few as numbers 11-20 will be revealed on Sunday night. Somewhere in that group will be Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald.
And the man presenting him will be none other than Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley. This according to Cards reporter Kent Somers, who notes the presentation will come on Sunday night on NFL Network.
Presumably, Haley taped his Larry Fitz bit at the same time he taped the presentation for Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe, who came in at No. 45.
Any predictions on what Haley has to say? He hasn't been shy when talking about Larry Fitz's work ethic and talent so I imagine it's some pretty complimentary stuff.

I hope he says something like, "Kolb, Orton or McNabb won't keep Larry from being a Chief"
But I doubt that happens for some reason….

I would be ecstatic if we could get Larry Fitz
And Aubrayo Franklin too, of course.

just insane
Is our basic scheme gonna be with 3 WR or what. Jeeeeez. We are gonna run the football a lot more than most people think.

Im sure we wont make a play for Fitz now that we drafted Baldwin, unless we trade Bowe
But could you imagine a offense with Bowe, Fitz and Baldwin (assuming he is as advertised) at WR, Moeaki at TE, and JC at RB? It wouldn’t matter who the QB is, the offense would be unstoppable!!!!

Waste of money/Tallent
It’s not like we have a good field stretching QB who could utilize 3 probowl WR’s.

I agree
But it’s not like we need that type of QB for the offensive scheme we use. I think Cassel is the perfect fit for the Chiefs right now, and with the players we now have around him he should do very well. I also believe Baldwin needs the snaps and that having L.Fitz would take away alot of them.

Prob something like this
“I’ll take 53 Lance Longs Larry Fitzgeralds,” as a nod to his attitude and work ethic.

Why do people want Larry so bad?
I did prior to the draft. We don’t need to spend a gazzillion dollars on WR’s. Bowe, Baldwin, Moeaki and Dex are more than enough targets for Casserole, especially with a run 1st team. Spend the money on the line or defense.

Yeah a good RT or even a NT would be a nice pick up off the FA market.

Only way I see us going after Larry Fitz is if they don't plan on re-signing Bowe
We’d have to spend money on one of the WR’s don’t you think?

Yeah but if Bowe is still ballin' like he did last year, why not re-sign him even if it takes the extra $$$.
L.Fitz would still come at a higher price, plus he’s older than Bowe.

Fitz is just a year older than Bowe
but consider this…..
it might pan out that we swap Fitz for Bowe…and maybe like give AZ our 3rd round pick
kinda makes sense….our coach hearts Fitz…and Bowe has slippery fingers….
AZ on the other hand has not been utilizing Fitz the way they should and have 3 up and coming receivers getting the job done in their new scheme.
A slightly lower rated receiver plus a 3rd might be just what the doctor ordered in AZ
Plus Fitz wants out and I bet Bowe wouldn’t mind a change of scenery.t

If AZ doesn't get a QB to Fitx's liking he is leaving after this season, and he cant be franchised.
And the fact that he still put up great numbers last year with the turd buckets he had at QB is amazing.

I think even if a decent QB comes in...Fitz will keep his options open till the 2012 free agency...then make his decision

I wonder how
Kenny feels about this. His WR, who is entering into Free Agency is being presented by a head coach of another team? That would piss me off if the roles were reversed.
