Chiefs Players React To Aftermath Of Joplin Tornado
Kansas City Chiefs players and front office members are in Joplin helping out with the tornado relief efforts and the tweets coming through are painting a devastating scene. The Chiefs contingent is helping clean debris and then meeting members of the community and signing autographs.
I've collected some of the tweets and photos sent out by the players and the Chiefs official Twitter account.
Check it out...
Chiefs: This is sad and inspiring all at once.
Chiefs: Getting a tour of the tornados path. Not a window unbroken at hospital
Shane Bannon: Infinite respect for the volunteers out here. Just did a couple hours of hard work. Some have been here for over a month...
Andy Studebaker: The devastation of Joplin is unexplainable. We need to walk with our people down the road of recovery.
Reshard Langford: Just arrived in Joplin. Completely destroyed. We as people are at times torn down but we resurface as better beings. This town will be ok!
Reshard Langford: Astonishing fact...there's more debris here in Joplin than was at ground zero on 9-11.

I think its also great....
That a lot of these players are going to be emotionally connected to this Chiefs community now. Think this team has the makings of a GREAT team. Says a lot about a man when they go an do things like this when you know they could be siting on a beach somewhere just hanging out.
Would ya like a free NANAA!

Awesome Job guys!
Great to see our players out “walking the walk” making a real difference in people’s lives. It’s things like these that will put the CBA and the negative feelings of that go away with the fan base. Proud of the red & gold.
