You Betcha! In light of the recent flap about certain Chiefs player(s)who may or may not have had any kind of involvement with a so-called "porn party" event, and in light of some bloggers who shall remain nameless maintaining that our good, All-American Sports Stars aren't REALLY "role models,' I thought I'd take a minute and see what I could do to enlighten those among us who need that spiritual awakening, those who truly don't yet understand that our society is chock full of role models and icons at every turn ... indeed, it's hard to get away from the images of our heroes from one sport or another.
Sure McMabb's got milk, so does Delhomme and some guy with a Packers uniform.

Oh, and let's not forget Mr Heisman Trophy himself!
Now, lest anyone think that milk is only for football players, please allow me remind you of a former Hoya, Mr P Ewing ... he didn't get that tall on orange juice alone, you know
And let's not forget Albert Pujols ... local boy makes good, gets on milk billboards ![]()
But it isn't just milk, it's soup ... McNabb again, Mom must be so proud!
And it's breakfast cereal ... even if you're just an Everyday Joe

FUN FACT: In 1986, Walter Payton became the first football player to be shown on the front of a box of Wheaties (I had no idea! Sweetness!) And shoes, we can't forget shoes!
Drink this, eat that, wear those ... grow up big and strong and fast and be ME! Role Models? All around us, urging us to spend our money and BE them, or be LIKE them, in some small way. "I wanna be like Mike!" Yeah, guy has a boatload of money, I wanna be like that, too. All I have to do is drink milk. Role Models? You better believe it ... Hey Joe, I bought the Coke for you!
