The story line from NE was they didn't get the edge pass rusher so greatly needed. This was a common theme on the ESPN draft show.  In my paranoid thinking, and with our multi picks at pass rushers, I wonder if a deal is already brewing between these old comrades? Yeah I know it's pure conjecture, but I see that Hoodie already has 2 #1 draft picks for next year and guess what?, that is the price for a franchise tagged player.

Could the athletic Bailey be the heir apparent? Maybe Sheffield or Miller? Or even Houston? Yes I know it would bother some folks to no end if this deal gets done. It would worry me as well. But bothered or not I am not tied to any 1 player overly much since this is a business and players are commodities which get shuffled around routinely. Hali may be the most wanted player on our team for other teams consideration. It would be prudent to worry some. Could playing with Brady and a ring entice Hali to leave KC?

Does Pioli do a 1 year contract with Hali? I think Tamba is wanting big numbers on a multi year contract. If we ever get an agreement done and football begins what is the cap going to be? Is it financially serviceable to pay Hali, or are we better served spending dollars on other players who are important to this team too? I surely do not have the answers but remain worried as this organizations past has tainted me into thinking we will not pay players what they are worth in the market that is pro football. Unlike the past we have a new Hunt in Clark, and a new GM in Pioli, so believing that the past repeats itself in this situation is purely speculative. All I do know is that I want this team to succeed at all costs, even if a beloved player has to be sacrificed. Go Kansas City Chiefs!!!!
