Collusion by Parcells and his son in law????

We recently went threw the draft process and were given large quantities of information from a multitude of sources. I was looking forward to ESPN's interview with the old coach whom most everybody pays attention to. Yes, many saw it as well as I, and many focused on his big board like I did as well. Someone, from the Patriots blog on SBNation, even went so far as to tape it and bring the board in all its glory to our perusal.

Now we know most everyone around here would think the Tuna had a real clue to who his son in law was looking at in the draft. Maybe not as we know by now that Scotty Pioli is about as security minded as anyone in football. But then again maybe so. Maybe he even sent some misdirection out into the football netherworld of pro football by assigning a pick or two a lower value in hopes of giving Scotty a leg up, so to speak, in drafting a certain player.

The player I am referring to was none other than our first pick, Jon Baldwin. If I remember correctly the Tuna had him listed as a third round WR, as a matter of fact the only receiver listed in the third round. If in fact this was a little subterfuge by Parcells, it seems to have worked out as we got a wideout. Of course I am easily swayed by thoughts of deception when the draft is occurring as it seems to be par for the course in most pro football organizations. If indeed this was the case I hope the Tuna keeps doing favors for his son in law Pioli. While it will be awhile to ascertain the quality of play JBal provides, I am looking forward to see him in action this fall. Go Chief's!!
