While I contemplate whether I'm doing another series this upcoming season, I at least want to do a pre-season type image similar to the arrowhead stadium painting i did last year.
Last year, it was so clear cut. Chargers. Monday Night Football. Game one on the year. Hyped up rookie squad. You had to cut the suspense and anticipation with a chainsaw.
This year, things are different. Not only because it's a non(less)-meaningful game at home (at least it's at home...) against the Bills (the Chan Gailey connection doesnt hold my interest here). But also because of the looming lockout. Will there even be football this year? Or at least will the season start on time?
I had originally wanted to do a painting of a series of photos I took at the playoff game against Baltimore. I had seats in the upper deck and I stitched together a panorama image as reference. I thought that would be cool this year, to do an inside shot as opposed to a half a mile away type shot like I did around this time last year.
I also would like some feedback from everyone on what you guys want. Does this sound like something that would be enjoyed overall? Or should I go with something like a more generic Baldwin image just so everyone can see the big fella in a Chiefs jersey?
Any feedback would be nice. This is for you guys, after all. I'll probably make my decision around whenever this thread dies out.
Go Chiefs! :)
