NFL Lockout Is Lifted (For Now)

Stay connected for news and updates

Well we've got some good news, sort of. Judge Susan Nelson's NFL lockout ruling has gone in favor of the players and the NFL lockout has been lifted.

For now.

The NFL will appeal and request a stay which is basically asking that the NFL lockout stay in place during the appeal process, which could take a couple of weeks to a couple of months.

If the league's request for a stay in granted then the lockout will stay in place.

If it's not...well, then we could have an interesting situation on our hands. The lockout would remain lifted but the CBA has expired so what happens with free agency, trades, and other normal parts of NFL life isn't clear.

It's just one more step to getting back to normal in the NFL.
