Alabama A&M Pro Day Attracts The Chiefs

Stay connected for news and updates

On a day when Auburn, Arkansas and Oklahoma are conducting their pro days, we've now heard two reports on Kansas City Chiefs scouts being spotted.

At Minnesota and Alabama A&M.

I would imagine they're represented at a couple or all of the other big three pro days but it's always interesting to see how many of these they go to, including schools like Minnesota, with few if any high draft picks.

The latest small school Chiefs scouts were spotted at was Alabama A&M pro day. According to Reggie Benson of The Huntsville Times, the following teams, including the Chiefs, were represented at Alabama A&M's pro day: Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans.

Benson reports that the draft stock of DT Frank Kearse, who worked out, "rose dramatically" with a solid all-around performance. Kearse checks in at 6'4" and 315 pounds and, according to a Steelers scout, "has the ability to play in this league." According to NFL Draft Scout, he's the 35th best defensive end in the draft

We'll be updating our annual Chiefs draft interests table a little later tonight. (Chris, that means update the table tonight.)
