The 2011 Arrowhead Pride Mock Draft continues with Chiefscafan58 choosing for the San Diego Chargers at No. 18...

Chargers fell back to reality with the shocking loss of the dominance of the AFC West title to the Kansas City Chiefs. So its back to the drawing board to figure out what went wrong.

First its obvious you need your franchise QB to be upright to win games in this league so O line is a major concern. Next you need a WR to catch the ball and with the turmoil vincent jackson has brought lateley he may do more harm than good. However when you really look at whats the difference is the pass rush with no merriman where has the rush come from. Shaun Phillips is amazing but he can't do it on his own. Larry English was suppose to be the help but he has been a non factor.

The Chargers watch the Pats pick. They can't believe their luck is still there. They sprint to the podium...

OLB/DE Robert Quinn from North Carolina

Robert Quinn is expected to be the next great pass rusher out of North Carolina since Julius Peppers. Quinn is a super athletic defensive end that possesses all the physical skills to take over games in the NFL. Quinn has a rare initial burst off the line which allows him to get into the opponents backfield. Quinn's quick burst and overall speed makes him a target for double teams. However, he has developed several pass rush moves that allow him to get around those double teams. His 6 forced fumbles last season only enhance his playmaking ability. Quinn makes his living in the offensive backfield.

Although there are concerns about the missing the whole year last year because of the whole agent fiasco and being diagnosed with a brain tumor in high school; He is too talented to pass up. With the combo of Phillips the Chargers are back with a pass rush to challenge the Chiefs for the division crown.

Scares me and Matt Cassel. Nice pick, but I don’t think he will be here in the real draft. Since he was, this was a no brainier.

I thought Quinn would be drafted before Cameron Jordan.

But even if that were to happen, our scenario here would still leave Jordan, Ryan Kerrigan, Adrian Clayborn, and JJ Watt on the board. None of those options would leave me feeling relieved.

I don't think the Chiefs are going to draft an OT this year, unless there's

a value pick in th 6th or 7th round.

The year that Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning were drafted, the consensus of nearly every fan and sportswriter in America was that Ryan Leaf was the better QB, and up to the point of the draft, he was.

I told Joel and chris I was shocked he was there still. Like I said too much talent to pass up. He could be a bust player so that scared me a little. But if he’s dominant and I pray this doesn’t happen for real because this would scare me as well. And as I said I’d he was there for the chiefs damn I’d hope we would sprint to the podium. Hard to believe he is going to be there still at #18. If Robert Quinn makes it past the top 10 Ill be shocked. There is no way he will get past the Houston Texans in the real 2011 NFL Draft.
