We're still over a month away from the 2011 NFL draft and we don't have really any idea who the Kansas City Chiefs will be picking. We do think, though, we can narrow it down to a few positions with offensive line, defensive tackle and receiver leading the way.
One of the top defensive tackles available in the draft, Stephen Paea, will be holding a workout for NFL teams on March 31st, according to National Football Post.
One reason the Chiefs may attend (which is a complete guess on my part) is to check up on a knee injury he suffered at the Senior Bowl. He underwent surgery and has apparently been making a quick recovery.
The medical evaluation may be second in importance only to the actual game tape so if there's some interest from the Chiefs they'll want to check him out medically, possibly even in Kansas City.
Each team gets 30 players to bring into their facility. We'll be on the look out to see if Paea gets an invite to KC.
