The Kansas City Chiefs over the last couple of years have been making significant improvements to Arrowhead Stadium with a renovation that spruced things up in all areas of the stadium. For that, they've been nominated by Sports Business Daily for the Sports Facility of the Year.

Here are your candidates:

  • Amway Center (Orlando Magic)
  • Arrowhead Stadium (Chiefs)
  • Consol Energy Center (Pittsburgh Penguins)
  • New Meadowlands Stadium (New York Jets and Giants)
  • Red Bull Arena (New York Red Bulls)
  • Target Field (Minnesota Twins)

I haven't been to any of these facilities outside of Arrowhead. We've read all about the New Meadowlands Stadium and we also know that Target Field has received a ton of praise.

In light of the labor situation in the NFL, here's to hoping Arrowhead will actually be used in 2011....

Anyone been to any of these facilities outside of Arrowhead?
