Stay connected for news and updates

Joel mentioned earlier today that the Kansas City Chiefs were reportedly showing interest in late round QB Adam Weber from Minnesota. This afternoon, courtesy of Adam Caplan at Fox Sports, we have word that the Chiefs are again interested in a quarterback. According to Caplan, the Chiefs have scheduled a private workout next week with TCU QB Andy Dalton.

Dalton is rated the 7th best quarterback, according to NFL Draft Scout. He's also projected to go in the 3rd round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He is 6'2" and weighs 215 pounds.

Dalton was also the 2010 Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year and went 42-7 as a starter during his four years at TCU.

He also has workouts scheduled with the Bears, Browns and Patriots
