We're about one third of the way through the NFL Pro Day season on college campuses and some big names are hosting NFL scouts today. Ohio State, Tennessee and TCU are the biggest schools hosting their Pro Day today, along with Eastern Illinois, Idaho, Jackson State, Oregon State, Purdue and Southern Miss.
Here are the biggest name prospects from those schools:
DE Cameron Heyward is the big name for Ohio State. This defensive end is projected to go in the first or second round. He was a four-year starter, team captain and he was voted first team All Big 10 in 2010. The Chiefs will definitely be watching him today.
Tennessee TE Luke Stocker, who the Chiefs spoke with at the Senior Bowl, is the marquee prospect from UT this year. He's projected to go in the second round.
OT Marcus Cannon of TCU is one of the Horned Frogs' top prospects. He's projected to go in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft.
ILB Martez WIlson was voted first team All Big 10 and is projected to go in the first or second round of this year's draft.
Oregon State DT Stephen Paea is another big time prospect. He was the Pac-10 defensive player of the year and is projected to go in the first or second round.
DE Ryan Kerrigan of Purdue is another monster defensive end. He was voted first team All Big 10 last year and is projected to go in the first round.
