We are exactly 50 days out from the 2011 NFL Draft and the Kansas City Chiefs are deep into draft season, interviewing players, attending Pro Days and hosting individual workouts. As we speak, Kansas City has a number of NFL scouts strewn across the country, visiting college campuses during this Pro Day season.
So far, these are the Pro Days that we are aware of that the Chiefs have attended: Missouri, Minnesota, Alabama A&M, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Alabama and Oklahoma State. Of course they've been to plenty more but we haven't heard published reports of their presence. Click through on each of those for more info on the potential prospects the Chiefs were checking out.
We also continue to gather our list of the college prospects the Chiefs have been in contact with, whether that's at the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine or a Pro Day. Since our last update, the only NFL draft prospect we've added is Ohio WR Terrence McCrae. He is the 14th prospect on our list but of course the Chiefs have met with many more prospects than that. We just don't know about them yet.
After the jump, I've got a quick refresher on the Chiefs' draft interests:
