With the Super Bowl finally over, it's time for Kansas City Chiefs fans to start thinking harder about the NFL Combine, NFL Draft, NFL Free Agency and all of the other little events and tidbits that happen in the NFL offseason.

The NFL Combine will be held from February 23rd to March 1st in Indianapolis this year. The 2011 NFL Draft is a ways away. It starts on April 28th.

So that leaves us with NFL free agency. One of the biggest names to pop up in the last few days has been Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss. Reports say that Washington is not planning on offering Moss a contract extension, which would make him a 31-year old unrestricted free agent.

Moss had 93 catches in Washington last year. I think Moss to the Kansas City Chiefs would be an excellent move by Todd Haley and Scott Pioli. If the Chiefs are looking at guys like Kevin Curtis, doesn't Santana Moss to the Chiefs just make perfect sense?

Moss' speed is a great compliment to Dwayne Bowe, who desperately needed another receiver to draw attention away from him this year. In a few games this season, Bowe was completely shut down because the defense knew the Chiefs had little in the way of over receiving weapons.

Muse away on this topic for now. We'll be ramping up our free agency coverage in the coming weeks.
