Love and Hate Twitter...

It may be just me, but I love and hate Twitter in the same breath. On one hand it's cool to be pretty close to professional athletes. It's cool to see what they're up to, and what they're doing. But on the other hand, they rarely respond to anything you say to them. There are a few of them that do. But it's rare. I understand that they have to relatively professional. And, I understand that there must be thousands of people sending them messages. But I do get bummed out when my favorite players (i.e. Charles, Berry), can't take a second to say something back to me. Back in the day, I was decked out in my Royals jersey at Fenway park. I was the only one that had the Royals colors on. I was right near the Royals dugout. George Brett walks right in front of me. I calmly said, Hey George, go get 'em". He DID NOT even look up to acknowledge me. I would almost rather not have the ability to be this close without communicating. It kind of frustrates me that they can't even say something.
