Hue Jackson leaves no doubt that Oakland is Jason Campbell’s team

"There’s not a position, other than quarterback, that I wouldn’t just look at in the draft and say we don’t need anybody," Jackson said.

I thought that when Cable was fired.

That was considered to be a large source of their friction, with Campbell being Davis’ guy, and Cable not always on board with him as the starter.

So, was Cable a big fan of Gradowski (sp) eventhough he was always injured?

It was rumored during the season that Cable would be fired after benching Campbell for Gradkowski, in defiance of Davis. It may have been less about Gradkowski, though, and more about just not really believing in Campbell. Either way, apparently Davis wasn’t happy about it. I wonder if that’s when the fines started.
