A while ago I was tossing around the idea of trading The Chiefs#1 pick.  I thought with all the CBA problems, that underclassmen were staying in school. With so much uncertainty they would rather play than sit around. My rational was to get an extra #1 for 2012. Since the talent pool would have been greater.

I was wrong, Mr. UpaMtn posted me a feed that stated 2011 had one of the most underclassmen ever.  So 2011 should be one of the deepest drafts ever.

This might prove my point even more..Let me explain... or just scroll right down to the comments and bash me : )

Since 2011 is projected to be so deep why wouldn't we trade off the #1 and get an extra #1 for 2012. When the draft will be even more top heavy. There will be some stud players at the top of that draft. Chiefs could make a package deal and maybe even get, LUCKy.

Also since 2011 is so deep The Chiefs should be able to tidy up most needs, out of the first round. I see a lot of really good names on different mock drafts throughout our posts. At the very least, I believe The Chiefs should trade down this year and get some extra picks.

So for me trading the #1 is a win-win situation................ for you?..................
