KANSAS CITY MO - JANUARY 09: Head coach Todd Haley of the Kansas City Chiefs and quarterback Joe Flacco #5 of the Baltimore Ravens speak to each other on the field after the Ravens defeated the Chiefs 30-7 in the 2011 AFC wild card playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium on January 9 2011 in Kansas City Missouri. After enjoying a near record high of 98% approval in December 2010, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley's approval ratings fell in January to 87%. Add a playoff loss in there, plus the resignation of Charlie Weis, and I think we may see Haley's numbers drop even more here in February.
Like I said, the big Haley-related stories since the last approval poll have been Charlie Weis leaving for Florida, the Chiefs' playoff loss to the Ravens, and Haley saying he won't be the offensive coordinator next year. Haley also talked about the 2011 Senior Bowl with Josh Looney.
Will Haley top 87% this month? Or will he drop back down to the low 2010 preseason numbers he had?
