Packers Week 15
I went to the Giants/Packers game last night. Great game for those who have not seen highlights.
Man - Aaron Rodgers throws into 'space' better than anyone I've ever seen. Throwing the ball to where the receivers hands will be before the receiver makes his cuts is just sick. His receivers dropped some key passes in the 2nd half but they were generally perfectly placed.
The Chiefs matchup well with the Jets because the Jets run the ball much like the Bears. I am afraid of the Packers game bc the Pack have 4 or 5 receivers and the Chiefs secondary could get exposed ex-Eric Berry.
The Steelers (week 12) don't have nearly the ammo that the Packers do.
How bout Clay Matthews? Some people call the #2 selling jerseywearer overrated, but he is just plain SICK. Pick 6, forced fumble, near safety. Gosh - wish he was a Chief. He is my favorite player to watch during timeouts, sacks, etc. He just roams the line of scrimmage like a tiger in a cage. Just an animal.
Anyways, I think this all of a sudden lockdown Chiefs defense will be in for some pain in Week 15 and the Chiefs cannot score like the Giants can. You're probably looking at a 15 point spread in favor of the Packers that game.
Chiefs may steal one from the Jets this week but it's just too bad about Orton. What a waste.

I see you still haven't changed your offensive moniker.
You do know this is a fan site, right?

I can't take your post serious because of the name your using
Is the post supposed to be a joke too? Confused…
Agree, re: Rodgers vs. the Chiefs
Kinda like the Pats game, the Chiefs are probably going to take one of those guys away but he has like four legit options.
IMO it reflects more than just accuracy.
It reflects a team that works on timing and willingness to trust in one another. WR are where they are supposed to be and trust QB to get them the ball in a spot they can catch it without being hung out to dry. Packers have a 4th WR with better relationship and understaning with QB thasn our #1WR and #2 WR.
Saw too many times when a back shoulder throw was called for but ball was thrown with too much lead. Or, in case of going deep to Baldwin, a jump ball should be thrown with air under it and ball is thrown a a rope. Sometimes these things are best worked out by the players involved thru practice and repitition. I wonder if our guys get together on these matters or just rely on coaches to script every movement.

IMO
chemistry derives from the QB’s accuracy. Because Rodgers is so good at directing where the ball should go, the WR just need to run their routes and Rodgers will find the open man and strip the defense apart. This obviously allows the running game to get going whenever they choose to run the ball.
With our QBs whether it was Cassel or Palko, 5 years of practice with our WRs would not come close to how much Rodgers can improve in a year of practice with GB because they just arent able to pass the ball where it should go. Chemistry is important but i feel like a QB has to have great accuracy to even begin to develop that chemistry with his WR corp.
I can't remember who said it
but I was watching ESPN this morning, and they were talking about Rodgers and how he’s a little different than most QB’s. They were saying as far as talent goes, he’s probably just slightly above average, but his training is what sets him apart. I guess he’s just over the top about his personal training and practicing, and that’s what’s made him so accurate.
I don’t know how much stock i put into that, but he does have that drive you want your QB to have. I see that in Cassel, I just think he lacks in the raw talent category.
Regardless of how crappy/horrible to watch the game COULD be
Im still going out there to watch em play at Arrowhead. I think we will be pleased how well our D plays

I hope they do play well.
But I see this game as a shoot out and Green bay has the only loaded gun:(
