Signing Lloyd, would give the Chiefs by far, the best Wide Receiving corp in the NFL. By far. The only problem is, Dwayne Bowe's contract ends this year, and if he doesn't re-sign, that will hurt them. A lot. Letting him go to another team would be above crazy. He has caught for 1,00 yards this year, with 3 Qb's, and 2 of them have struggled in all of their starts. If Bowe is re-signed, or they give himthe franchise tag, They would be all set. They would have a great deep ball receiver in Lloyd, Bowe, a big, strong, physical wide out who is a threat anywhere on the field, Steve Breaston, who has had a good, not great year, in the slot position this year, but would create some mismatches when most of the attention on Bowe and Lloyd. Then Last, Jonathan Baldwin, a 2011 1st round draft pick from Pitt, who showed some ability to jump up, and make any catch, at any time, and when he develops, he could be huge threat in the Chiefs offense. With a new look Chiefs staff with Crennel and Mcdaniels, Adding Brandon Lloyd, and Re-signing Kyle Orton to Qb, The Chiefs are setting themselves up for long time success. Some may think it is a little unrealistic to have Bowe and Lloyd both on the same team with the situation the Chiefs are in with Bowe's contract, but they definitely have the cap space, and why not?
