Third Shift Open Thread
Good evening everyone. This is your late night open thread for Thursday night. With no NFL football on this evening, we're forced to wait until the weekend. I caught a good amount of the Notre Dame vs. FSU game earlier this evening at the neighborhood bar, which turned out to be pretty entertaining.
The best part of the evening for me? The bar was playing the Big Ten Network's replay of the 1993 Rose Bowl next to the Champs Sports Bowl game. Grbac vs. Brunell? Yes please! I watched almost the entire game.
What is everyone else up to this evening?

3 things
1) This Football game is freaking awesome.
2) Brian Kelly is the worst coach in sports.
3) Spiced rum is good.

I don't get the Brian Kelly hate.
Especially considering the state of that University Charlie left it in.

I can't stand the way he conducts himself, or the way he handles the QB
He isn’t an NFL coach dealing with men, you don’t scream at teenagers like that and expect results.

He's such a freaking hot head
He flip-flopped QB’s every drive and if the drive didn’t result in a TD, he’d scream at the QB until he had to hit the field next. These are kids who are afraid to make mistakes because they will be a) Screamed at and b) Pulled, as soon as they make 1 mistake.

well that sounds like fun viewing for non notre dame fans
seems a bit late in the season to still have no clue who he wants to play at QB
I hope Crist lights it up next year.
There is no way he isn’t better than the 2 scrubs they played today.

As a hardcore Notre Dame fan...
I wish they would have been playing Hendrix all year. He had the absolutely dreadful INT, but other than that drive, he has shown amazing glimpses

They have a redshirted spread guy who will probably start next year...
It will be between him and Hendrix who has one of the more impressive college arms I’ve ever seen, and busted a 94 yard run up the middle in his first game this year. Freak athlete… Might be a little dumb…
But this Gholson kid seems legit.
