Broncos Injury Report Has Five Players, Including Brian Dawkins

The Kansas City Chiefs are used to having significantly fewer players on the injury report than their opponent. They have more fewer players listed than the Denver Broncos do this week but not by much. The Broncos have five total players on the injury report for Wednesday.

Three safeties were on the list -- David Bruton (Achilles) was limited, Quinton Carter (hip) was a full participant and Brian Dawkins did not practice due to a neck injury. CB Chris Harris was a limited participant with a neck injury and LB Von Miller was a full participant coming back from his thumb injury.

The big names on that list are Dawkins and Miller. We can expect Miller to play -- he hasn't missed a game due to the thumb injury in several weeks. Dawkins is another matter. There's a concern that he could indeed miss Sunday's game. He missed Week 15 with an injury and apparently aggravated it last weekend.

Missing two key defensive players would be good news for the Chiefs as they continue on their quest to score multiple touchdowns in one game for the first time since Halloween (!!)

You mean with only 3 weeks of practice?

Compared to the other guys who have been there for months and even since last year? Come on you can’t compare the 2. Not gonna put this on Orton, without him we continue to not get past midfield
