Ultimate Jeff Demps Highlights (via TheVikingsworld2011)
This man is fast. It seems as if Jeff Demps has been around forever. For a guy that is set to break the 40 yard dash record at this year's combine, a 6-7th round seems very cheap. He definately has speed but is he just a track star? I dont think so.
Demps maintained a 7.5 average yards per carry in 2011-12 with one of the "laziest" Florida Offensive lines. Of course Demps does have some downsides.
1) Not an every down back. To me the doesn't matter that much. If we spend a 6th rounder on someone who touches the ball 5-10 time a game and has a chance to score on every one.
2) Injury-riddled past. Again a 6-7th rounder not a big deal if he is a bust but if he stays healthy, he could be a huge offensive weapon.
3) Not a good wide-reciever. It doesn't matter he is a RB.
Overview: If he can stay healthy, Demps could be a much-needed offensive weapon in Kansas City for years to come. I like the risk of taking him. Let me know what you guys think.
