Hey Chiefs fans, as you all know, the TV and Internet have been buzzing with all of these playoff scenarios for the Playoff contenders. The Chiefs have to have a lot, actually scratch that. The Chiefs need a ton of things to go there way for them to make it into the playoffs. But When you really look into it, none of the games that need to go their way are too unrealistic. Here they are after the jump.
First off, The Chiefs need the Denver Tim Tebow's (Broncos) To lose to the Ice cold Buffalo Bills. The Bronco's are heavily favored everywhere you look in this one, but when you put in perspective that the Broncos are flying across the country, to play a team that is as hungry as any team for a win, that game doesn't seem so definite. Also, The Broncos are so one dimensional, that if the Bills can look at what the Patriots did last week, they may just have a chance. And that means that the Chiefs have a better chance at the playoffs.
Then, there is the Chargers vs. Lions game. The Chargers are red hot, coming off a big win vs. Baltimore. The Lions also came up with a big win vs. The Raiders. With Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson going against the Chargers secondary, I can see the Lions taking over this game early with a few scores. If the Lions end up with a Win over San Diego, That helps the Chiefs a lot. So if the Chargers fall, And the Chiefs overcome the Raiders at home, The Chiefs and Broncos will be Playing for the wild and crooked AFC West Division Title.
When you look at the games that need to go right, it seems much more possible after looking in detail at the week 16 games. But what we should be most importantly be looking at is OUR matchup. The Kansas City Chiefs vs. The Oakland Raiders. In my opinion, The Chiefs have the bigger advantage this week, after the huge win, Along with the fact that the Raiders lost a big lead to Detroit. Arrowhead will be rocking on Christmas Eve tomorrow, and I think Kyle Orton will pass all over the Raiders defense. With the Help from Jackie Battle, Thomas Jones, and Dexter McCluster, I have the Chiefs winning big, 24-10.
