So it seems that the ownership in Jacksonville might want to give up on Gabbert and draft another QB.

If this is the case would any of you give up a mid round pick for this guy to sit and develop for a couple of years behind say Orton?

This doesn't seem like a terrible idea to me. I do think the guy has some skill. Is he ready? No, but we wouldn't need him to be either if Orton works out. I am talking a 3rd round pick, maybe a conditional 2nd rounder.

So what are your thoughts?
