I just dont get it!!! C'mon man
With our season in rapid decay, I cant see anything wrong except for horrid management. The utter misuse of our surviving roster can only be explained as "tanking the season"!! Jackie Battle is a premier running back with deep seeded love for his team, which is a rarity within itself. he is probably the nfl's most dedicated and unselfish player hands down! Why is he averaging less than 10 carries per game??? Kansas City has proven year after drudging year that "running back by commity" does NOT work. ANY successful team in the nfl has a PREMIER back. My kc chiefs have 1 actual rushing td for the year. Our QB situation is obvious,as Ricky Stanzi warms the bench we bring in a notorious quitter to compete for a starting role at QB.Stanzi may very well be the quick fire QB that offsets a weak offensive line!! Did Pioli bother to look at Stanzi's hawkeye highlights?? Keeping in McGraw a starter is another huge error in judgement by our GM. And has anybody thought of utilizing the ELECTRIC Dexter McCluster in the fashion of early Kordell Stuart?? Coach Haley is definately the man for our team exibiting leadership skills that our Chiefs seem to rally around, but is undershadowed by our ultra predictable offensive coordinator. I love my chiefs with every ounce of my being and always will , but C'MON MAN!!!!!!

Have you seen the way his offense plays? The offense has quit on the guy.He was yelling at them on the sideline and they tuned him out

WE ranked #1 last year at running the ball
and it was by committee ( or “Commity” ) : )…..So it does work, but depends on who you have. At this point, Battle/Jones/Mccluster/Mcclain havent gotten it done PERIOD
when we see battle touch the ball 25 -30 times a game we'll see how he really performs. he's a aggressive downhill runner that can hold the ball.

Cant see any running back carry 25 times when we are getting blown out
Not running Battle isnt the cause for concern (although I am with you, I would love to see him run more)

Dude
I agree that he should get the ball more. I say that because teams that run the ball around 30 times a game have a win % of around 75-80, not because he is a “premier” RB. Just face it, we give him the ball because he’s been here forever and there is nobody else to give it to.
We have 2 rushing TDs on the season thank u very much
How dare u forget how our offensive juggernaut puts points on the board?
When you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.
Jamaal above all. #25 ftw.

Haley is actually finally utilizing his best weapons more.
It is clear that our rushing attack no longer strikes fear into our opponents. Thus, the new hurry up, no huddle passing attack. Our best offensive weapons are now our receivers, Bowe, Breaston and Baldwin (along with an occassional Dex. mixed in). We have seen the team be able to move the ball fairly well, the past two games, but they continuwe to shoot themselves in the foot, and some long, sustained drives end in turnovers or stupid penalties. I liie the playcalling, right now, but we need a QB who can limit the interceptions, and complete a pass in the red zone. Palko has moved the chains, at times, but we haven’t scored a td in 4 games, 2 of them with Cassel! Let’s hope Orton picks up the offense quickly, and develops a fast relationship with hsi new receivers. Our defense may be playing the best they have all season, but they can’t do it all. I fear that they will be the ones not giving 100% , if they get no support from the offense.
They wiil this Sunday, in an upset win over the Bears. Book it!
There once was a man from Nantucket......Nevermind.

Yep. With our passing first approach even Jones has had a few decent runs.

The Rev would be proud of you.
Jackie Battle loyal? yeah maybe because he didn’t have another option. I highly doubt another team would have picked him up after his 4 years of nothing in the league and 2 YPC.
So you’d rather Sabby or D Washington starting at safety over. Donald Washington displayed some of the worst tackling i’ve ever seen on MNF against the pats
Utilises Dexter McCluster? If we haven’t found a way to utilise him properly yet then that’s just sad. You don’t draft a guy in the the second round and not know how to use him. He is definitely heading down the road to bustville
KC Draft prediction: No OT taken in first round
rotation
they could easily move Kendrick Lewis to free safety and sub in mcgraw at nickel which drastically lowers him as a target against big recievers and playing time reduced will lower his misakes till he’ more seasoned or released…
