If you’ve had the opportunity to listen to other NFL broadcasts on Sirius/Xm or whatever, I think we’re pretty blessed to have a guy like Mitch calling the play-by-play.

Mitch is a cool guy with the exception of occasionaly falling into the deep end.

I had to bite my tongue during his “Centaur” phase when he thought Larry Johnson should be called that. But what is not to love about a guy from Smith Center Kansas like Mitch?

when we played the Colts. The Chiefs were in the redzone and the starting cornerback lined up with Breaston had to come out a play and the Colts put in a rookie. The next play Cassel threw to Breaston for a touchdown and Mitch proclaimed of the rookie, “and the Chiefs go after the runt pig!”
