With the Chiefs shocking upset over the Pack today, WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! (sorry, I couldn't contain myself) along with the Broncos loss & the meltdown in Oakland we are still in the playoff hunt! Even though every NFL broadcast had already eliminated us from the playoffs before the game today (not listing us as one of the teams still in the hunt) we are still very much mathematically in this thing. Check out what needs to happen for the Chiefs to get into the playoffs after the jump!
We need the following to happen to make the playoffs:
- Chiefs win out (vs Raiders, and Broncos)
- Broncos lose to Bills in week 16
- Chargers lose 1 of their 3 remaining games (vs Ravens, Lions, Raiders)
Good odds the Chargers lose 1 of those 3 tough matchups. Our biggest help needs to come from the Bills vs Broncos, that would setup a huge week 17 game for the division!
