Wonder how much truth Romeo puts into his depth chart

I think Stanzi starts

just my gut feeling…

How sweet would it be if Stanzi rips apart the Packers.

It would be sweet...

I don’t think your going to see it happen again. I wonder what everyone who called for Haley’s head because of Palko will say when the next guy does the same thing.

I doubt we’ll see much of Stanzi, but it’s because there are no excuses left for keeping Orton out.

Hopefully Orton is ready to rock....

I’m interested to see if he has practiced this week….I just hate because I think we win Sunday if Orton plays.

Honestly I don’t give a shit about the offense this week. I’m more interested in seeing how the corners do against Rogers and the receivers.

I'm more interested in if Houston keeps it up

Dude has brought it in a very legit way the last few games against the run and rushing the passer. Now RC just needs to realize that he cannot be in coverage when there’s potential for a long route…

The excuse for Orton

is his finger. I wish Palko would be cut so we can end this cruel Haley joke.

Well before the 2011 Draft I called for Stanzi or TJ Yates

I like how both play. I actually liked what I saw in Stanzi during the preseason and think that he has a chance to be really good. All I want to see out of him is some strong throughs and not all this dinging and dunking.

I also want to see him make reads.

That would be sweet if he does well in the last 3 games and we can get a OT in the draft instead of a QB… although I love me some RG3

I think Haley was saying F U to Pioli.

I can’t imagine Stanzi being that bad in practice.

I also do not beileve it will be Muir calling the offense on Sunday anyway.

It will be Jim Zorn probably calling most (if not all) of the plays for the rest of the season. If Crennel gets the permamnent position next year I see Zorn being the OC and Crennel bringing in someone with a good defensive mind. He has a much better talent pool here then he ever had in Cleveland while he was the HC there.

by Tarkus on Dec 13, 2011 2:48 PM CST up reply actions

Haley's track record is one of stubbornness

It honestly would not surprise me if he kept Palko in there out of stubbornness. Haley had the idea that his coaching could turn bad players into good ones. Look no further than multiple 3rd down sets last Sunday…

One at least 3 different occaisions on 3rd down we had Copper and Urban out there instead of Bowe and Breaston. There’s no logical reason for this. Just stubbornness, and a belief that he can get production out of less talented players that he liked.

To be honest,

This is a crazy week for Crennel!

One of the last things that will be on his mind is the depth chart we see. The only depth chart he is worried about is the final game day depth chart which will probably have a lot of changes to it that are not on the one we have currently.

by LocoGonzo on Dec 13, 2011 2:52 PM CST up reply actions

Crennel is such a horrible coach and should be fired!

Leaving Palko, Weigmann, and Jones as #1 on the depth chart. What a horrible coach…it will be funny when everyone realizes unfortunately this is the best on our team at these position….

I was being sarcastic...

When Cassel went down most people on AP were happy for a change and excited to see Palko….Change isn’t always better and we should all be careful what we wish for is all I’m saying…

by groundedchevy on Dec 13, 2011 3:04 PM CST up reply actions

Change is sometimes better.

If you’re frustrated with what you got, there’s no way of knowing if the grass is actually greener without change.Cassel wasn’t getting the job done, I don’t think anyone thought Palko was going to come in and tear it up, I think most (at least me) wanted to see what we had in Stanzi. But I’m pretty sure we’d still be losing even if Cassel was still here, maybe 1 more win. But I think this team will be better in the long run for him going down.

I don't have a catchy, catch phrase.
