Wonder how much truth Romeo puts into his depth chart
Men succeed when they realize that their failures are the preparation for their victories.
I think Stanzi starts
just my gut feeling…
How sweet would it be if Stanzi rips apart the Packers.

It would be sweet...
I don’t think your going to see it happen again. I wonder what everyone who called for Haley’s head because of Palko will say when the next guy does the same thing.

I doubt we’ll see much of Stanzi, but it’s because there are no excuses left for keeping Orton out.
"Hater" is a term used by weak-minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.
Hopefully Orton is ready to rock....
I’m interested to see if he has practiced this week….I just hate because I think we win Sunday if Orton plays.

Honestly I don’t give a shit about the offense this week. I’m more interested in seeing how the corners do against Rogers and the receivers.
"Hater" is a term used by weak-minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.
I'm more interested in if Houston keeps it up
Dude has brought it in a very legit way the last few games against the run and rushing the passer. Now RC just needs to realize that he cannot be in coverage when there’s potential for a long route…
I love my wife, my kids, and the Chiefs. In that order. Except on game days.

The excuse for Orton
is his finger. I wish Palko would be cut so we can end this cruel Haley joke.

Gaither got the game ball for his play last week.
Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2011 KC Chefs!
Well before the 2011 Draft I called for Stanzi or TJ Yates
I like how both play. I actually liked what I saw in Stanzi during the preseason and think that he has a chance to be really good. All I want to see out of him is some strong throughs and not all this dinging and dunking.
I also want to see him make reads.
That would be sweet if he does well in the last 3 games and we can get a OT in the draft instead of a QB… although I love me some RG3

I can't argue with your thoughts...
But if Stanzi was doing these things in practice do you really think Palko continues to get the start?

I think it was a Haley thing
I think Haley was saying F U to Pioli.
I can’t imagine Stanzi being that bad in practice.

I also do not beileve it will be Muir calling the offense on Sunday anyway.
It will be Jim Zorn probably calling most (if not all) of the plays for the rest of the season. If Crennel gets the permamnent position next year I see Zorn being the OC and Crennel bringing in someone with a good defensive mind. He has a much better talent pool here then he ever had in Cleveland while he was the HC there.
what would they do with Muir?

Stanzi with a 4 step drop, looks off the safety
Looks back right, loads up and throws a deep ball to Dwayne Bowe. TOUCHDOWN KAN-SAS CITY… JUST LIKE I CALLED IT.
This touchdown play was brought to you by PRIIICE CHOOPPPPPPER
Well if Palko's the QB
I’m texting hail mary every play. Can’t hurt.

Haley's track record is one of stubbornness
It honestly would not surprise me if he kept Palko in there out of stubbornness. Haley had the idea that his coaching could turn bad players into good ones. Look no further than multiple 3rd down sets last Sunday…
One at least 3 different occaisions on 3rd down we had Copper and Urban out there instead of Bowe and Breaston. There’s no logical reason for this. Just stubbornness, and a belief that he can get production out of less talented players that he liked.
I love my wife, my kids, and the Chiefs. In that order. Except on game days.

To be honest,
We were calling for his head for more than just Palko. The Palko just iced it for us. Sorry but I think Haley just blew this season. Yes injuries, but stiil no one ever looked ready to play.
I don't have a catchy, catch phrase.
Palko again eh?
Maybe I’ll get some housework done instead this Sunday. Or maybe there is a Saved by the Bell marathon on TV.
Or maybe I’ll just punch myself in the face for 3 straight hours.

If you were smart like me, you'd just go to Mexico where you're insulated from hearing the result.
Tebow might know Jesus, but Bill Muir is old enough to have actually babysat him in the manger.
Unfortunately, that's not true, Sudden.
Being a diehard Chiefs’ fan, I suffer thru the bad Chiefs’ game whether at Arrowhead or in Acapulco, on Sky HDTV.
I do plan on seeing if they have NFL Sunday ticket at one of the bars down there.
I do want to watch the game.
Tebow might know Jesus, but Bill Muir is old enough to have actually babysat him in the manger.
The Caliente in Acapulco use to have all the FB games, along with horse races,
Soccer, other sports. There are probably similar places in most of the larger cities in Mexico if they have been closed down by the President’s stupid war on drugs.
I listened to the entire, amazing 2008 season via internet radio
while studying abroad in Chile. That was a whole hell of a lot of fun.

This is a crazy week for Crennel!
One of the last things that will be on his mind is the depth chart we see. The only depth chart he is worried about is the final game day depth chart which will probably have a lot of changes to it that are not on the one we have currently.
Crennel is such a horrible coach and should be fired!
Leaving Palko, Weigmann, and Jones as #1 on the depth chart. What a horrible coach…it will be funny when everyone realizes unfortunately this is the best on our team at these position….

Not Palko
No way… there is NO way he is better than Orton and Stanzi.
I don’t think he has touched the depth chart yet and this is a little premature.

I was being sarcastic...
When Cassel went down most people on AP were happy for a change and excited to see Palko….Change isn’t always better and we should all be careful what we wish for is all I’m saying…

by groundedchevy on Dec 13, 2011 3:04 PM CST up reply actions
Change is sometimes better.
If you’re frustrated with what you got, there’s no way of knowing if the grass is actually greener without change.Cassel wasn’t getting the job done, I don’t think anyone thought Palko was going to come in and tear it up, I think most (at least me) wanted to see what we had in Stanzi. But I’m pretty sure we’d still be losing even if Cassel was still here, maybe 1 more win. But I think this team will be better in the long run for him going down.
I don't have a catchy, catch phrase.
this
for the most part.
Not sure this team will be better in the long run yet. Depends on next HC.
40 years and counting.
I use to be a fan. Now I just follow the Chefs
Maybe we should start over
and change it from “Head coach” to “Head Chief.” This might help with team morale.

Romeo hates Colquitt.
How else to explain Dustin losing his job as backup kicker?
"Tyler's our starter." - Todd Haley
After that onside kick on Sunday...
How could he be any worse than Succop?
"Tyler's our starter." - Todd Haley
Succop isn't good at onside kicks
but he has gotten SO MUCH better at field goals. What is he now, 17 straight?
by Knightwolfbr on Dec 13, 2011 3:14 PM CST up reply actions
He's not bad at onside kicks
He’s just got that weird unorthodox method of laying the ball down on the ground. He need to perfect that silly shit, or go back do doing it like everyone else does.
We have had some bad luck
Like when the ball barely hit our guys during the NE game
by Knightwolfbr on Dec 13, 2011 3:22 PM CST up reply actions
If the Chiefs' depth chart remains the same Friday.......
We should all recognize the fact that the firing of Haley envolved more than the team’s lack of success, especially if Palko starts.
Seeing Palko play these past 4 games
makes one wonder how in the hell did he beat out Flacco at Pitt, or was Dave Wannstedt on drugs at the time he made the decision
Men succeed when they realize that their failures are the preparation for their victories.
he was actually are darn good college QB
Play Stanzi/Decade of the Chiefs.
Team Colquitt
Hopefully we see some stanzi soon, but Green bay isnt the best of times when they are on a war path towards 19-0
either way, I think the kid can handle it, and I hope somehow, someway, we see enough to feel good about the fact that he will be backing up cassel to start next season(ugh)
Play Stanzi/Decade of the Chiefs.
Team Colquitt
You can pass on GB
so this might be an ok game for Stanzi to get his feet wet

"Nah. Basket weaving was too hard, so I changed to journalism." - Joe Namath, in response to a jibe about whether he had majored in basket weaving.
I was thinking though. Obviously I was kidding here, but I hope people can see how ridiculous it was to get pissed about depth charts when the former coach was here.
I would love some Stanzi going right at that weak GB secondary though.
As long as he throws away from #21 He should be good.
"saints_chiefsfan1979 is a genius" - yes, I lost a bet.
We'll see Stanzi or Orton
2 reasons. 1)You’re not gonna start a guy who just got the fired, let alone at Arrowhead it’ll turn into a full blown fuckin away game. And 2) If they want that stadium to have any kind of red in there besides the seats, you do it. Make some noise, shake shit up BREAK THE GOLDEN BOYS STREAK!
I don't think many fans will show up to arrowhead
