Can Joel or Chris remind us of the rules about talking to coaches from other teams and the timing of such? Id kinda like to get an idea if anything will happen before the end of the season, playoffs, etc...

You can not talk to coaches until the end of their season(reg/playoffs/Superbowl)
If they are under contract the team has to get permission from a higher up to talk to them
Unless they are in the NCAA
/need to stop making things up

This is why the talk of the Chiefs firing him now to get a jump on the candidates was a joke.
Pioli fired him yesterday because he was sick of seeing him in the hallway.

Coaches looking for a HC job now know there is one in KC, and they know the circumstances that the team is not going to sit by and see what happens but instead require better out of their coaches.
