While I am "in" for this coaching change, the thought of the Chiefs possibly hiring Kirk Ferentz, Josh McDaniels, Tom Cable, or Jim Fisher doesn't excite me and honestly gives me the heebie jeebies should they get the helm of Chiefs. I don't know enough about Ferentz to make an informed decision though he's had the Hawkeyes competitive in the Big Ten it seems like every year. Not bad. McDaniels set the Broncos back a couple of years ago with a very ego-centric personality and no clue how to evaluate talent. Who would have thought Tebow would be doing what he's doing now? Honestly. McDaniels had no clue. Cable, while making Oakland somewhat competitive, a-la going undefeated in AFC West competition last year, he was physically abusive and clearly did not have the personality of a head coach. Fisher, while seems like a competitive coach, had a roller-coaster of a head-coaching career. He did go 13-3 in 08' but he did not provide continuity or consistency as a coach going 7-9 one year, while having a winning record the next. You can't expect a coach to be Jesus, especially in a division that Peyton Manning is in, but consistency in a head coach or organization is key (Steelers, Patriots, Ravens, Indianapolis, Eagles). My question to everyone is this: What about Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Brian Billick, Perry Fewell?
