Ok, this is my first post on here so I'm a little nervous. However, I need to rant for a little bit so here it goes. One of my favorite tv shows is Sportsnation on ESPN, I like the discussions, games, the bs meter, the whole thing. For the first time today though, I realized my hatred toward Colin Cowherd (spelled right, who knows? its a rant, spelling doesnt matter). Today on the show they featured Todd Haley on the bs meter for his ( insert choice of word for stupid) comment about Orton "competing" and that Picko is the starter right now. Colin then started rambling on how he fought his producers to even include him in the segment because "no one cares," and my favorite "i mean really nobody gives a crap about this team, why did we even talk about them." Well Colin Cowherd I freakin' care, and round these parts millions care.

     The Chiefs were one of the most important teams in the founding of the league as it is today, they have won a superbowl and won the AFC west last year. We have 2 of the best young players in the league in Charles and Berry, and have quite possibly the best pass rusher in the AFC in Hali (i swear to God he gets held on every single play- its maddening.) We also have the best fans in the NFL bar none (I Don't want to hear steelers or packers- its easy to get "fans" when you win every year) as well as the loudest stadium in the NFL. So ya people care, maybe you don't care, maybe all the east coast fans don't care, but WE do. The Chiefs, for better or for worse, in losing or in winning, are a crutch for the people of KC and surrounding areas, watching and following the team we love is something we look forward to and is something that gives us a sense of community and enjoyment. Now, to be fair to Colin, theres no way he could feel this way because the man is the very DEFINITION OF A BANDWAGON FAN. He was born in raised in Washington State, but is a "fan" of the Patriots; which I am 100% sure that YOU WERE NOT BEFORE BRADY AND THE SUPERBOWLS. But. this fairweather fan has the right (and gets paid for it) to stand up before a national audience and totally talk crap on not only a classy organization but also a fantastic fan base full of Hard-working. good people. I will never respect you again Colin Cowherd, YOU SUCK.
