palko had 6 turnovers in his first 6 quarters.  Even if you gave him the 3rd quarter, how do you not go to stanzi after that!  What could you possibly have seen in palko that said to leave him in there for the 4th. 

Also, we just picked up orton. After the 3rd quarter, YOU KNOW you are naming Orton starter next week, what could it have possibly hurt to put stanzi in & give him a shot.  See what hes got, see if hes any better then palko, the way palko performed its hard to think he could've done much worse.  If you look at palkos game he completed a BUNCH of screen passes & possibly 4 passes of 10+ yards the whole game.  1 interception for sure his fault, 2 that were likely his fault (but he was pissed at WR's, so MAYBE some room to blame them on those plays, still throwing into too much coverage).  Tell me stanzi couldn't have at least done as well as palko did in those situations. 

Now we go to orton next week, would've been nice to have seen stanzi for at least 1 quarter.  We already know what we have in palko, and that is absolutely nothing, but maybe the rookie had some skills that we likely won't even get to see this season, in a season where we are basically eliminated from the playoffs already with 5 games left to go.
