Steelers Vs. Chiefs: It's Gameday

Good morning everyone. Ms. Primetime just surprised me with the news that we're going to Church this morning so I'm already a little behind...

Today is gameday, the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers. Once again, we have to wait until primetime to see our Chiefs play -- the game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) for Sunday Night Football. I'll be headed out to Arrowhead around 4ish or so and I know the gates to the lot open at 3:00 p.m. so the barbecue should be rollin' by then.

The Chiefs are huge underdogs entering this game but they were also underdogs two years ago when Chiefs coach Todd Haley and Co. beat the Steelers in overtime at Arrowhead. There's no reason they can't win this game. The Chiefs are rolling with Tyler Palko and we have yet to hear whether Kyle Orton will be active for the game.

Church on Sunday always works well with late games...

With that said I’m gettin ready for the same thing.. Heh .. Maybe ask for a blessing or 2, an appearance of Ricky Stanzi before we throw neck beard to the wolves…

Gameday!

But since half of the games so far we are getting blownout, its getting harder and harder to to “get up” for the games. Still will BBQ and drink lots of beer but the heart isnt getting into to it like it use to. Now i know what the lions fans use to feel like.

Grey Cup is on today at the same time as the Chiefs game.

Guess I will not be taking part in a Grey Cup party this year.

Orton Should Play !!!

After watching the play-calling and Palko Monday Night, if we have any chance of winning the AFC West again Orton needs to play today against Steelers. Yes I would give Palko four series before putting Orton in the game. This is a must win game because all the other teams in our division hold the tiebreaker over us. Why sign Orton if we’re not going to play him in a must win game. If we lose this game our season is over and Haley and most of his staff should be FIRED !!!
WE WANT Jeff Fisher !! with Weis as OC and Del Rio or Steve Spagnuolo as our DC. This is KC CHIEFS FOOTBALL, hard nose Defense in Arrowhead ..

About to leave for my first Chiefs game ever.

Excited for the game, a little worried by the fact its gonna be 30 degrees.

Do we go fetal and beg for mercy? Or do we pick up that broken piece of pipe laying on the ground and come up swinging? I choose pipe.

I truly believe we can beat the Steelers

Defense has to continue to blitz and pressure Big Ben and he will turn it over. Also, our offense has to hold on to the ball and not throw stupid interceptions like last week. i believe if we do these things we will be in this game until the end and pull out a W! Bears will be the Raiders and were one step closer to being tied for first again! LET’S ROLL!! #CHIEFSWILL

I hate the Steelers

and loved that game in 09. What a great surprise that was. I still remember the guys at the Steelers site taking the game for granted. I always like to see any of the big bandwagon teams lose, such as the Steelers and Cowboys. I’ll be hoping for the best.
