ESPN's John Clayton caused a bit of a stir on Wednesday when he suggested that QB Kyle Orton may not report to the Kansas City Chiefs if they were the team to claim him.
And later on Wednesday, the Chiefs did claim him.
So will Orton report to KC?
According to the KC Star's Adam Teicher, the answer is yes. Teicher reports Orton is expected to be at Chiefs practice on Thursday if he gets into Kansas City and passes his physical on time. The Chiefs are scheduled to practice around 10:50 a.m. on Thursday morning.
So that's that. Orton is indeed headed to KC.
