Chiefs' Glenn Dorsey Reportedly Out For Patriots Game

Stay connected for news and updates

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without DE Glenn Dorsey tonight when they play the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. NFL Network's Albert Breer reports that Dorsey tested his injured knee today but he's not ready to go.

Dorsey was listed as questionable entering the game.

He injured his knee in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos. He was seen in the locker room after that game with a brace on his leg but we don't have much information beyond that. He was limited in practice throughout the week so we knew his status was in question entering tonight's game.

DEs Wallace Gilberry and Brandon Bair (who is usually inactive) are directly behind Dorsey on the depth chart, and Allen Bailey is a candidate to see more snaps, too. Dorsey's biggest strength comes in defending the run so that's where they'll see his loss the most.

Dorsey sent out a tweet a couple hours ago that said, "Bad mood man..." so we were thinking he would miss this game.
