13. Kansas City Chiefs 4-5 Landry Jones Quarterback Oklahoma Junior Redshirt Its hard to indicate whether Matt Cassel recovers from his season ending injury. Cassel’s contract runs through 2014. Jones could sit out for a year or two until he is ready to be the Chiefs long term starter. Jones could even start right away if Cassel fails to recover from his injury. With Dwayne Bowe, Jonathan Baldwin, Tony Moeaki at tight end, and Jamaal Charles at running back. Landry Jones would have the weapons to succeed in Kansas City right away. Draftniks may not want to admit it, but Kansas City is the best fit for Landry because they already have the supporting cast built around a quarterback. I have doubted Jones as as an NFL prospect because his throws are inconsistent at times. I could see Landry Jones being the Chiefs version of Ben Roethlisberger if they end up selecting him here because he would have a very strong supporting cast to work with.
Another ideal scenario for Landry Jones would be Seattle. I like Kansas City better though for Jones because its nearby his former school plus he will have an array of premium playmakers to throw to. Having the playmakers the Chiefs have is essential for any quarterbacks development. Its even more essential if that player is a rookie.
Just and idea of the direction people think we should go. I agree with this one as well as RGIII

Honestly i think mocks are like putting your christmas tree up in aug.
but with the way we are playing there is not much else to look forward to.
Thunder Up! errr well whenever BBall comes back.......
I used to say "In Pioli I Trust" but now i say "Man Pioli is cheap!"
Go Chiefs!!!!!
yes that and right now we need to up grade that o line so i don't think drafting a QB every year
is what the chiefs want to do i mean man build a line lets see from there but you can’t be puting QB behind this line to get killed.
Landry Jones is terrible
Not an upgrade over Stanzi, just a great supporting cast.

Landry Jones = Inconsistency
I don’t think he’s much of an upgrade over Cassel
Huzzah! Fantasy football has returned, allowing me to slap my opponents (family members) across the face with my favorite pair of white satin gloves. En garde, monkeys!
We have to build the O line.
We need to be able to run the ball better, and have a balanced offense.
