Chiefs in fantasy football - week 9

As a huge Chiefs fan and an ardent fake football player I see things in fantasy football that make me wonder...

1) Prior to the start of Monday's game I told my buddy that Baldwin would have a great game. He barely played the week prior - nobody has film on him and he is a talented player. That being said, he is now the defacto waiver wire pickup in every league. I love the Chiefs and hope he does great but I just don't see the Randy Moss type performance that fantasy guru's are touting. At least for the rest of the year.

2) The Chiefs defense has played well...well giving up over 400 yards isn't usually a great mark but turnovers and sacks are the key in fantasy. After 2 games with a bunch of turnovers the Chiefs are now the hottest defense rolling in fantasy football. One link said Flowers will shut down Marshall...that's what they said about Revis and Marshall still had a good game (for him). Again, I love the Chiefs defense to abuse people but these fantasy "guru's" have watched two highlight reels from the past two weeks. I've watched Chiefs' games for years and a defense that will smack down the Faiders will look silly against the Colts (of 2011 :)

3) Jackie Battle established himself as a rb waiver wonder with a td last week. I pray we see more but truth be told I can't see Battle breaking one for distance anytime soon. I think DJ is faster...

4) D. Bowe is the legit fanatsy starter here....'nuff said. Breaston and Baldwin will be good fill in's during an off week.

I would love the Chiefs to be the fantasy football studs and more importantly to keep winning games. Seeing the "guru's" expert advise always makes me think twice when I see info about other teams I'm not as intimately familiar with...just my .02 in the world of Chiefs and fake football...
