Because as it sits....

Matt Cassel is still the best option on our roster…. Until Todd Haley is told that Cassel will NOT be able to play the rest of the season, we wont see change…

This kinda feels like “You don’t know what you’ve got, til it’s gone….” situations…

Is JC Jesus Christ or Jamaal Charles? I think they both will be our savior.

ImO this is just something that haley and co dont really care about

they know where their players are, and will do everything to try and hide that. Til cassel sees IR, or whatnot, he will be QB1 on depth chart

just shows how silly looking at a chiefs’ depth chart can be

I understand...

I just don’t see how people look at this as an “ego” thing… Where Pioli or Haley are afraid to admit their mistakes… I don’t see that at all.

While I do agree we should have gotten a better option at the QB position. I don’t feel there was really anybody around that was worthy of taking over for Cassel.

He does seem a lot more of a LT than a RT.

I don’t think he’d be a very good RT on a running team.

Dunno, just thinking back to the beginning of this season where he was missing assignments with his current team.

Maybe he’s learned the scheme since then. But in preseason, he looked awkward on running plays and he looked like a natural at pass blocking.

When they have to wait forever to get the play

then hustle to the line and get it all called before wasting another timeout or getting flagged, YES. That hurried, panicked play-calling sets the team up for a LOT of failure. Think you can catch the ball when you’re not even sure you’re running the right route? Think it’s easy to figure out who to block when you have 3 seconds to look at the front? This incompetence of Haley’s doing is directly responsible for much of the poor play we’ve seen. Even that of #7 (damn, that hurt to type that).
