I know people are frustrated

But don’t be dumb. We just got worse how on earth could you be happy? If you don’t like Cassel its not like this is going to increase his chances of not being the QB next season.

Not happy the leader went down

As bad as he was in performing, he was still a leader. It affects the rest of the team.

Now, we just got to sit back and see what we got in Palko or Stanzi. Could be better or worse. We just don’t know until we see it.

Glad he's no longer starting, too bad he wasn't benched before now and the football gods that gave him a starting job realized the err of their way and it wasn't supposed to be for this long and had to take it away via injury

They realized his 10 seconds were up and fate intervened. Don’t blame the Oline for the injury, blame Pioli/Haley for not taking his starting job away before he got hurt

I'm NOT happy he got hurt

because he’s the best QB on the team. But that is like saying he’s the best looking turd in the stool. In the end it still looks like crap.

I'm mixed on it. Mostly positive though.

I mean, he’s the leader of the offence, and they’re going to be at least a little bit off rythm because of this. BUT, I’m really hoping we get to see some Stanzi and really get a chance to find out what we’ve got in Ricky. And if we lose out because of it (minus a win over the Raiders due to my presence at Arrowhead that day) we’re that much closer to Landry or Barkley or RG3. Can you tell I’m hoping we draft a guy that can be a franchise quarterback and not just a pretty good quarterback or a decent game manager? Yeah, I’m hoping that Matty Ice is riding the pine next year with either Ricky or Palko, and that there’s a Big XII arm out there winning us football games. Or a PAC12 arm. Just, ya know, a new arm. One that’s not attached to one of the quarterbacks we have now.

I am excited to see a new QB with this offense..as long as Muir is not calling the plays. If Palko fails… We can see what Stanzi has got I like Matt, but he is not THE guy. Go Chiefs!

What's to lose?

except the rest of the games this year. How many does anyone honestly think we would have won if cassel played? My guess would be none, so how does playing Palco or Stanzi have any negative effect? In fact it might encourage more people to buy a ticket to get a look at these guys and see if they are the future of the Chiefs. I would also put Hudson in for Wiegman, Try a new off line set with Albert at LG and Gaither at LT and put Powe in at NT and Gilberry at OLB. Get our two best pass rushers in there at the same time and see if they can create some havoc in the other teams backfield. Again, what do we have to lose. the season is already lost, so lets see what we have for next year. In other word, next year starts now.
