Here we go, Kansas City Chiefs fans. Matt Cassel is out temporarily until further testing, but it doesn't look good. Tyler Palkois now are starting quarterback, which makes the next 5-weeks an even more depressing time for our franchise. I know this kid will play with his heart on his sleeve, but some of you cannot pronounce or spell his name, at least not yet. Tyler Palko will face the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football (11/21/2011) and then the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football (11/27/2011). Can this kid prove something to us about being an overlooked under dog or will he lead us to a TOP 5 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft?
As it stands now, there are 10-teams with a record WORSE THAN 4-5, and those teams are the following:
1) Indianapolis Colt, 0-10
2) Carolina Panthers, 2-7
3) St. Louis Rams, 2-7
4) Miami Dolphins, 2-7
5) Minnesota Vikings, 2-6 (play tonight)
6) Cleveland Browns, 3-6
7) Jacksonville Jaguars, 3-6
8) Philadelphia Eagles, 3-6
9) Washington Redskins, 3-6
10) Arizona Cardinals, 3-6
What will the story be after Week 15? Will we still be a contender in the AFC-West? Likely not. Will Tyler Palko still be our starting quarterback? Probably, unless Berry Richardson gets him killed also. Anyone want to see Stanzi? Some of you might. We face 5 of the toughest teams in the NFL, in the next 5-weeks, so are our Kansas City Chiefs headed toward the NFL basement?
