Befuddled by Haley, still wondering what the hell he's doing!

I still am thinking of the past when Haley and who else.....Matt Cassel came to our Arrowhead Stadium and injected me/us with a jolt of joy and enthusiasm. Remember when the offense was winging the ball all over the field, Haley's passing attack looked good if only we could find some receivers to hold onto the ball. And a line that could keep the QB from taking them big hits like Cassel did. Then year 2 happened and what did we do???? Go conservative. Run the ball as the #1 running team in the league and almost dead last throwing it. Okay, I get it to some degree, still wasn't the greatest at pass pro and good wr's. And our QB of course needed reps to gain experience.

Now this year is happening and what do we see? Conservative football which isn't what our coach was known for. Yes, Moeaki is missed, but overall our receiving corps is looking up. Too bad the line is still an unknown because of the inconsistent ability to block;.but I have seen some signs of life from them, but have no expectations with BRich and Casey starting. But the play calling appears to be extremely conservative which I really cannot fathom. Why Haley, WHY? I'm starting to think I have concussive syndrome I am so befuddled from these last couple of seasons and the conservative play calling, when he had me ready for a passing offense after that first year. WTFWTFWTF????

In a league that has made the passing game a priority with restrictive rules on the D, and legalized holding by the O-line one would think we would have a very good passing game by year 3 as Haley was known as an innovator regarding the pass offense. Many point to the QB and I'll grant you he is not a top tier passer, but to think he is totally the root cause is ridiculous. Oh well, it's out of my control, but still can't understand it. Go Chief's!!!!
