The REAL reason for the Cassel/Haley explosion.
"When we get in to the red zone and things we have, we need to work hard, continue to do a good job of executing in the red, and I will say we’ve been relatively conservative in the red also for other reasons". I heard Haley say this in his presser yesterday. What are his 'other reasons'? I can't believe that the press didn't follow up with this statement to try and get a handle on it. I think that this conservatism in the red zone is exactly what pissed off Matt Cassel in the first half of the Vikings game. I believe it is also the reason that he chose to throw the ball to McClain rather than take a look at Pope on the now 'infamous' 10th play of BJ Kissel's recent post. Cassel is PISSED about this mamby-pamby attitude that is handcuffing him to going specific places with the ball and it finally boiled over. Just what is/are Haley's 'other reasons'? I hope that somebody asks that question at the very next opportunity.
