Colts List 11 Players On Their Initial Practice Report For Chiefs Week
The Kansas City Chiefs had just three players on their injury report -- WR Jonathan Baldwin, S Jon McGraw and WR Terrance Copper -- and two of those guys practiced in full.
The Indianapolis Colts are a different story. They list 11 players on their first injury report for Week 5.
Out: QB Peyton Manning (neck)
Did not participate: T Anthony Castonzo (ankle), G Ryan Diem (ankle), DE Dwight Freeney (abdomen), DT Fili Moala (ankle), DT Drake Nevis (back).
Limited participation: QB Kerry Collins (concussion), LB Ernie Sims (knee)
Full participation: TE Brody Eldridge (knee), G Mike Pollak (arm), T Joe Reitz (ankle)
We'll keep an eye on Castonzo throughout the week, as he's the Colts left tackle. Indy signed veteran offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka this week so it makes you wonder if Castonzo will be there. Missing him would be a blow for the Colts.

Anyone hear anything more detailed about Freeney?
That would be a decent MIA from the game sunday.

We always tend to list Freeney and Mathis on our injury reports.
They take days off to rest, because they don’t particularly need to practice. Wouldn’t get your hopes up.
Antoine Bethea - the most underrated safety in the NFL.
Playing a Manning-less Colts isn't break enough?
How much more do you want from them?
Think he played behind Castanzo. That’s why signing a tackle means nothing because they needed one anyway.
"Hater" is a term used by weak-minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

Correct.
The signing was in response to Ijalana. Ijalana was slotted to play behind Linkenback at RT, but made the jump when Costanzo went down. He looked very promising in limited action. Shame to lose him, but JComp is correct. too early to speculate on Costanzo’s status. If I were to put money on it, I think he plays.
Given our spate of Season Ending Injuries to not only our starters but Best Players...
I don’t feel sorry for ANY team ,let alone the Colts…Not being cold , Just a part of “The Rabid Fan” Syndrome…
I think they have more of a coaching issue then a talent issue.
When you’re winning by 3 scores in the second half and you only give the ball to AP 5 times there’s a problem.

Completely unrelated.

"[Jamaal Charles] probably fights crime in his spare time while inhaling carbon emissions, exhaling oxygen, and crapping oil. That’s how awesome he is. Not just good for the Chiefs, but America."

This many injuries to that many people
means we still won’t know anything about if the Chiefs are improving or not. All it means is we’re playing a “worse than last place team”
Huzzah! Fantasy football has returned, allowing me to slap my opponents (family members) across the face with my favorite pair of white satin gloves. En garde, monkeys!
