Kendrick Lewis Is Probable For The Chiefs
S Kendrick Lewis is the only member of the Kansas City Chiefs injury report and he's listed as probable for Monday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers.
Lewis was the lone member of the injury report to start the week, too. He injured his ankle in the Oakland Raiders game last week and has been limited in practice the last three days. But he's probable for Monday, so he'll be good to go. Hopefully he can have a game like he did last week.
RB Dexter McCluster was listed on the injury report Friday because he missed practice but the Chiefs say he missed for non-injury related reasons and he's fine.
The Chargers injury report is a different story. We'll have a full post on it but they're rolling 11 players deep on the injury report.

So will we hear the whole 'we were injured' excuse from the Chargers after they get beat?

At this point.
I’d just be happy to hear it.
I was once fired from a job two days after I waited on Matt Cassel and his wife Lauren Killian. Totally my AP moment to remember. Unfortunately also one of my stupidest moments.

Personally, as mediocre as their defense has been (and as inconsistent as ours has been)...
This could turn into a shootout. It is STILL anyone’s game tonight. Their wideouts are mostly healthy, and Gates is back and hungry for the football. And yet, our wideouts are on a ROLL and their secondary is not what it used to be, save for Weddle.
I call 27-24…my heart (always) says Chiefs but my mind says “Who knows?”.

Kendrick Lewis has stepped up big time, along with flowers obviously, but hes really becoming quite a darn good safety and a heck of a ballhawk

wins this game by at least 10 points. It could be as many as 24.
