Not necessarily trying to make any more connections here than the obvious, but this year reminds me a lot of the 2004 Chiefs. A lot was expected of the Chiefs coming off the 2003 season, but a slow 3-loss start virtually ruined our playoff chances early. However the team picked itself up mid-season, Trent Green had a 4000+ yd year and the offense began dominating again. Have to think if we turned this into a 7-9 season w/o Charles, Berry or Moeaki, I can't say I'd be happy, but certainly things were not as worse as I expected.
